Other attractions include the American Police Hall of Fame, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, the Brevard Zoo, US Space Walk of Fame Museum, the Veteran's Memorial, Space Coast Nature Tours, Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory, Valiant Air Command - Warbird Museum and much more.
Area theater and arts include the Titusville Playhouse, Maxwell C. King Center of Performing Arts, Titusville Art League, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Space Coast Pops and the Community Band of Brevard.
Titusville is a true fisherman's paradise! Over 500 fish species are found in the Indian River Lagoon plus 100+ species of freshwater fish in the St. John's River and area lakes. Saltwater fish include redfish, spotted sea trout, snook, tarpon, black drum, flounder, ladyfish and sheepshead.
Conservation practices have brought back the giant "gator" trout and "monster size" redfish! The Atlantic Ocean offers king mackerel, wahoo, sail fish, grouper, snapper and cobia. The Canaveral National Seashore has 27 miles of undeveloped barrier island plus the Atlantic beaches of Playalinda, Klondike
and Apollo. Inland you'll find dune, marsh and lagoon habitats plus great bird destinations.
